Carolee Hawkins has been calling the western slope home since 2003. Having lived in both Grand Junction and Montrose, Carolee is keenly aware of why someone would like to make this area their home, too. Originally from the Front Range of Colorado, Carolee ended up in the Grand Valley as her husband, Tyler, is originally from Palisade. As the locals know, if you don’t take the dirt with you when you leave, you’re destined to return! Carolee feels thankful that Tyler never took the dirt because the outdoor recreation and western slope lifestyle can’t be beat. When she isn’t with clients, you’ll find her and her husband, along with their two kids, mountain biking, golfing, hiking, camping, skiing, floating the river, and watching a variety of youth sports.
